Arranging National Conferences is a part of Sree Sevugan Annamalai College academic activity. CURIES 08, RAMS 09, WIN 2010, RAMSAC 11, RESPECT 2012, POLYCAP 13, NALAMA 2014 at Sree Sevugan Annamalai College has brought laurels at the National reward with amazing proceedings. Now the PG and Research Department of Tamil of our college in collaboration with Alagappa University conducts a three days International Seminar on Ulaga Pothu Marai Thirukkural entitled “Tamil Icon -2015 (Thirukkural Across Miles International Conference-2015 )” on 17th , 18th and 19th of December. Associations from Malaysia’s Literary Association, Chennai’s New Century Book House, and Association of World Thirukkural have given their consent to be associated with us. Furthermore, the scholars from various countries nod for their presence in the seminar. The Nations which is involved in the propaganda of the glory of Tamil has agreed to send the delegates and would be an accolade and expected one to “ THIRUKURAL”. The participants’ articles will be published in the meritorious proceedings with ISBN number scrutinized by expert committee. The proceedings will be released on the final day of the Conference. Hence this TAMIL ICON15 is going to provide an opportunity for world wide researchers to find a common platform not only for interaction but also to get transformed by the amazing team of contributors including Thavathiru Adikalar.
